Campfire is the group program at Daring Ventures. Groups are an important part of recovery and healing. We offer a number of groups, both in-person and online.

Men’s Sex Addiction Group Therapy

  • Connector.

In group therapy, addicts learn from one another’s experience, strength, and hope. They can share tools with one another and encourage each other in their sobriety efforts. When facilitated by a trained therapist, clients find in the group context a place to overcome shame and learn the basics of connection and empathy. These skills can then be transferred to relationships outside the group, with family and friends.

The Daring Way™ Groups

  • Connector.

The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. During the process facilitators explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living.

Women’s Betrayal Trauma Group Therapy

  • Connector.

Group therapy provides women who have experienced betrayal a place to begin processing the trauma of discovery. As they join with other women whose stories echo their own, betrayed partners find relief from shame, safe and supportive connections, and the strength and resolve to set boundaries and learn self-care. This group combines task-based curriculum with opportunities for open processing.

Rising Strong™ Groups

  • Connector.

The physics of vulnerability is simple: If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall. Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown in her book Rising Strong, these groups examine what it takes to get back up and help participants to discover how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to a wholehearted life.
