Dr. Windell Gill, PSAP, PMAP

Meet Windell

“I dare you to be vulnerable!” That is the daring venture – to choose connection over your shame and fear. You can only go forward when you face the fear of rejection from the one that you betrayed. I want to teach you how to face that fear with the power of intimate connection. I dare you to face your fears with a whole new approach to intimacy. “I dare you to be vulnerable.”

The pain of addictive behavior creates a disoriented sense of self for both the addict and those hurt by their behavior. I have a passion for helping you recover what you have lost and embrace what you have never had – a new life built from the remnants of self-destructive behavior and a new sense of self realized through the risk of intimate vulnerability. I am deeply humbled by the privilege of walking a little with you on the pathway to the better and best you.

I share a blended family with my primary intimacy coach, consultant, and life partner, Cindey. I have experienced life as an oil field equipment hand and chemical process operator. I have served as a public education teacher and administrator, and 30 years in ministry. Still in ministry, I love to coach others toward healthy relationships. My passion is to offer hope through the power of intimate connection.

I coach addicts, couples, and individuals toward healthy relational interaction. I give particular focus to the multi-dimensional dynamics of intimate interaction. When betrayal has occurred, those dynamics are brought into significant question as doubts about authenticity are expected. Betrayal trauma creates specific challenges for relational repair that require specific support for partners to navigate. I provide specific support around life-long emotional development to help clients expand their capacity to connect with the one they have hurt. The goal is healing toward wholeness. This happens when we find someone to help us learn to be vulnerable even when the challenges seem insurmountable.

My favorite quote is, “Speak the truth in love!”
